Supporting our NHS

Supporting our NHS right now is so important. We are so proud to say that together in just a week we have raised over £240 for NHS Charities Together!! Unbelievable start to our fundraising effort and we can and will do more. We will continue to offer our NHS Charity Range throughout May and continue to add to our fundraising efforts. It is so important right now, in this moment, to do what we can to support each other and keep our community safe. If your part in that is to stay...

How has our vision changed in light of this crisis?

So I’ve had a little cry, felt relieved, thrown a tantrum about how to split myself in two to get everything done, and (at least today) have come full circle to see what a great opportunity this is for us at Aubrey & Co and how our vision has changed in light of the crisis. I've worked for Amy for 7 months, helping to develop the business strategy, marketing platforms and writing content. I love it, I love the beautiful thoughtful products she makes and our customers are amazing. Right now we all feel a...

Lifestyle Photoshoot Fun with Aubrey & Co

The current COVID-19 outbreak definitely threatened our lifestyle photoshoot day a few weeks ago but we were lucky enough to be able to proceed safely with extra precautions in place. The amazing support we received from the families involved was only matched by the fun we had. First up the gorgeous Paula, due in just 9 days, came to model our teething necklaces. She was a great sport given that she was about to pop and getting changed to model our various collections couldn't have been that easy. I couldn't help but...

What is a MAM adaptor?

..... Ok what on earth? What are MAM adaptors, why would you use them? And what are they actually called? We get asked often about MAM adapters, and sometimes we don’t until a customer realises after their purchase they needed one. If you’re a new parent, buying a gift or simply using a different kind of dummy this time around it can be a little confusing. Saying Thank You to Royal Brompton

This week we talked to my sister Lauren about her fundraising efforts for Royal Brompton Hospital. Quite frankly, they saved my husband Dave’s life three times, during three critical heart operations we had access to the best consultants around the world. Without them my husband would not...

Silicone dummies Vs Latex dummies

Over the years we've been asked many times about the differences between Silicone and Latex dummies, what's better, why should you choose one over the other? The short answer is, it almost always comes down to personal choice, save in the case of an actual latex allergy. Some parents prefer this look to that look, some babies prefer that teat or this fit. It can be a bit of a minefield! That having been said, having worked with lots of families over the years and used our experience to develop...

Keeping Little Ones Warm in Winter

So we thought sharing some tit-bits on keeping little ones warm was all in good timing. The weather forecasters are predicting the temperature in the UK is due to plummet late January giving way to snow etc. Now I have to start by saying I know there are some very judgey parents out there, sometimes I catch myself doing the same, when someone walks past me in the middle of Winter and their toddler has no coat on but they are wrapped up like Armageddon is coming. So please cut me some slack for saying...
